            University Medical Services was founded in 2007 by Alfred W. McFarlin, Jr.  Mr. McFarlin has more than twenty years of nursing experience with a track record of compassionate care to patients. The goal of University Medical Services is to service the community by helping people regain independence and mobility by providing medical equipment and supplies that enhance the quality of life and promote holistic healing. In addition, we are committed to providing high quality medical equipment, products and diabetic supplies. In most cases there are not up-front costs to individuals because of our worry free insurance claims processing (we accept Medicare from all fifty states and most South Carolina private insurance which also includes SC Medicaid). We also offer free diabetic awareness training.
